Jillicious Foods & Events was the absolute best choice for our wedding. The food was spectacular, the management was detail oriented and personal, and the service was absolutely stellar. What I loved so much about working with Chef Jill and Darren was the hands on approach they took to everything. As a bride and groom who were doing a lot of planning ourselves, we had so much comfort knowing that Chef Jill and Darren would cross any t and dot any i that we were missing. The food could not have been a bigger hit. Still, months later when wedding guests come up to my husband and I, they mention the delicious dinner, amazing cocktail hour grazing table, and tasty cocktails. All crafted by Chef Jill herself. Additionally, she was so accommodating with dietary restrictions, as I am gluten and dairy free. In terms of service, Darren ran his team like a well oiled machine and stayed with us for the clean up til the last second. He even came out to dance with me to a Shania Twain song, which I loved and will never forget. Not only were they a pleasure to work with, they are wonderful people who truly wanted the best for us on our big day. It has been a pleasure to get to know them. A small detail that meant so much to us was the effort and care that went into catering to our grandparents the day of the wedding. Being our venue had stairs to get up to the cocktail hour, it wasn’t possible for our grandmas to experience that part of the day. Effortlessly, the Jillicious team prepared for them a version of every single item that went up to the cocktail hour. They felt like absolute queens being catered to, and it meant the world to us. We have nothing but amazing things to say about Chef Jill and her team. Our wedding would not have been the same without them. We highly recommend them for all of your weddings and events

 Jillicious Foods is an all-in-one catering and event company dedicated to creating inspired, authentic wedding, social and corporate experiences. For us, every client represents a unique opportunity to tell a new and delicious story — and we’ve been telling these stories for nearly three decades.

We work in a variety of cuisines, from New American to Cajun to Southeast Asian; accommodate all diets, including gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian; and are proud to partner with local farms and purveyors throughout the Hudson Valley and New York City.

Our executive chef, Jill Freiberg, attended New York Restaurant School before working with some of the more notable names in New York City catering, including Abigail Kirsch and Glorious Foods. After becoming involved in the local food movement, Chef Jill moved to the Hudson Valley, where she continued learning from acclaimed chefs and developing her own unique style.

Now back in the City, Chef Jill and the Jillicious Foods team bring a passion for local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients to all their catering events — from black tie to rustic weddings, and from cocktail parties and wine dinners to casual BBQs — and always hand pick all the ingredients.

We’re guided by our commitment to using only the finest, freshest sustainably grown and raised products we can find, sourcing locally whenever possible, and following practices that protect our planet.

And we never use the same menu twice.

In support of our commitment to the community, we donate 5% of all our profits to NY Common Pantry.

A volunteer-led organization that tackles food insecurity, NY Common Pantry’s mission is to reduce hunger and promote dignity, health, and self-sufficiency. They have served almost a million meals to NY’ers in need.

Does Jillicious Foods use fresh, locally grown and/or organic foods?

Yes, we are dedicated to using the best products available to us, and sourcing sustainable ingredients from local farms and small vendors.

Can we schedule a tasting?

Of course! After you’ve reviewed your proposal and we’ve finalized your menu, we can set up your tasting; we hold tastings for up to six people — so bring your friends and family!

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and other special requests, such as gluten-free, kosher, vegetarian and/or children’s meals?

Yes, we pride ourselves on accommodating everyone at your event — no matter the food preference or dietary restriction — and ensuring all your guests leave feeling satiated and cared for.

Do you provide the beverages and alcohol?

We do not provide alcohol, but many venues will allow you to bring your liquor; we’d be happy to create a bar menu and bring the bartenders and mixers, fresh fruits and garnishes. Plus, we’ll work with you to determine how much beer, wine, liquor and bubbly you’ll need for your event.
